Place & Duration
Full-time Position in Vietnam with work location in Ho Chi Minh City for the project duration until March 2027.
Project Overview
The “From Bean to Bar” project, funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI), focuses on enhancing the climate resilience and livelihoods of Vietnamese cocoa and fruit farmers through the promotion of organic farming practices. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this initiative aims to support local farmers in adopting sustainable practices, improving their productivity, and boosting their economic stability.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Local Project Coordinator to oversee and manage the “From Bean to Bar” project. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities between Naturland and the local partners organization VOAA, ensuring effective implementation, and liaising with stakeholders to achieve the project’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Project administration: Ensure sufficient and correct administrative documentation (tender procedure, contract, invoices, supporting receipts, etc) following the project rules. Arrange logistics for project events and trainings in Vietnam. Schedule meetings and support with other administrative tasks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with Vietnamese partner organizations: VOAA, partner companies (Marou and Les Vergers du Mekong), local farmers, Naturland Vietnam team & Head Office, government bodies to ensure project success and sustainability.
- Capacity Building: Support the implementation, organization and facilitate training and workshops for farmers link to the 2 partner companies on organic farming practices, climate resilience, Social support and other relevant topics.
- Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports for Naturland team in Vietnam and Head Office, as well as regular documentation for IKI.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budget, track expenditures, and ensure financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of the project and make necessary adjustments.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the agricultural or environmental sector.
- Strong knowledge of organic farming practices (e.g. tropical fruits, cocoa, agroforestry) and climate resilience strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with international donors and understanding of their reporting requirements.
- Good understanding of Vietnam norms and government regulations for foreign funds.
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese is essential.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Ho Chi Minh City

- Great interpersonal and communication skills
