Long-term Consultant for Community Officer Position
Please be informed that WWF-Vietnam is seeking for long-term consultant for position Community Officer (based in Quang Nam Office)
Major functions: Community Officer together with other project staff will work closely with local communities in Quang Nam province to pilot Participatory Forest Management (PFM), to define REDD interventions and prepare a pro-poor benefit sharing mechanism for local communities
Requirements:
- At least master’s degree in the field of natural resources management or related fields
- Have more than 5 years of working experiences
- Have sound knowledge and broad experiences in the field of forest management and protection
- Have knowledge and experiences in REDD+ implementation
- Have experience working with local communities in forest management and protection
- Have excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and diplomatic skills with the ability to manage and interact at all levels of an international, multicultural and multilingual organization
- Good People management, coaching and capacity building/development;
- Networking, coordination, and facilitation skills;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English
