Employment Opportunity for a Migrant Services Clerk

To be based in Ho Chi Minh City:

Major Duties: Under the overall direction of the Head of Office in HCMC and the direct supervision of the Heads of Unit, the Incumbent will provide administrative support for the Visa Application Centres and Facilitated Migrations operated by IOM; particularly the Migrant Services Clerk will:

- Provide migrant service excellence to applicants at all time, in full compliance with the Citizenship and Immigration Statement of Work and Service Standards.
- Assist applicants to correctly fill-in applications and provide applicants with application forms, information and any other requirements.
- Manage and timely review of applications and completes related biographical data-entry duties.
- Ensure all inquiries from applicants regarding the requirements for submitting applications are properly addressed.
- Schedule migrants for appointments as required.
- Do translation of all application questionnaires and related forms from Vietnamese into English.   
- Ensure complete applications/documents are timely proceeded with proper arrangements.
- Input data/records and maintain a high degree of skill in using software platform provided, ensuring accurate tracking of both applications and supporting documents. Provide those records periodically and on request.
- Maintain a professional appearance and migrant friendly demeanour at all time.

Education/Experience Required:  High school diploma or equivalent.  At least three years of work experience in a similar setting and capacity. Knowledge of the needs of migrants. Working with procedures; Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality in performing responsibilities;
Excellent knowledge of English; Excellent computer skills, especially in Word & Excel; Strong interpersonal & intercultural skills; Excellent Customer Service Relations Skills; Excellent Presentation.
Vietnamese, English. Any other language is an advantage.
