Employment Opportunity for a Migrant Services Clerk Assistant
To be based in Ho Chi Minh City:

Major Duties: Under the overall direction of the Head of Office and the direct supervision of the Team leader of Australian Visa Application Centre, the Migrant Services Clerk Assistant will now be permanently posted to the IOM operated Australian Visa Application Centre (AVAC) in Ho Chi Minh City with a focus on the followings;

- Handle cash of all visa fees and avoid collecting counterfeit money.
- Ensure all collected money is kept in a secured and safe place.
- Establish reports which include precise reconciliation of revenues and ensure submission of reports as required.
- Provide applicants with visa application forms, information and any other requirements.
- Ensure all inquiries from applicants regarding the requirements for submitting visa applications are properly addressed.
- Receive visa applications/documents and timely proceed with proper arrangements.
- Input data and maintain relevant recording in the AVAC software and filling properly.
- Handle delivery of applications/documents between AVACs HN and HCMC.
- Notify the AVAC Team Leader of any courier malfunction and recommend appropriate solutions and anticipate problems to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist other colleagues as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head of Office and Team Leader of AVAC.

Education/Experience Required:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Several years of work experience in a similar setting and capacity. Knowledge of the needs of migrants.

Competence/Skills: Excellent knowledge of English; Excellent computer skills, especially in Word & Excel; Strong interpersonal & intercultural skills; Excellent Customer Service Relations Skills; Excellent Presentation.

Language Proficiency:  Vietnamese, English. Any other language is an advantage.
