RECRUIMENT INFORMATION

Center for Creative Initiatives in Health and Population (CCIHP) is a non-governmental organization working mainly in the field of public health and social science (for more information, please see at http://ccihp.org). CCIHP will implement the three year project “Interdisciplinary rehabilitation services supporting children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive” in Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam provinces. The overall goal of project is to develop accessible, good quality and sustainable interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to support people living with disability (PWD), especially children (up to the age of 16) living with intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) to thrive and reach their full potential.

In order to provide technical support for refining and implemeting the effective monitoring and evaluation for learning system (MEL), CCIHP is looking for qualified person to fill in the following position:

MONITORING, EVALUATION and Learning OFFICER

• Citizenship: Vietnam
• Duty Station: Hanoi and the two project provinces
• Salary: Competitive and receive other policies under the labor law

1. Qualifications

• Academic background: University degree in public health or social science, Master degree preferred
• At least three years working experience in supporting vulnerable group related work preferably with disability impaired
• Proven experiences in monitoring and evaluation for learning (MEL) related work.
  Exeriences in research and data management is preferred.
• Priority is given to candidate with experience of MEL for programs funded by foreign countries;
• Have working experiences in community level and with partners;
• Willingness to accept a multi-year commitment
• Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills
• Proficient oral and written English
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule.
• Willing to cooperate with other consultants and technical assistance.

2. Scope of work

• Work with project team to refine an effective MEL plan;
• In charge of setting up and management of the project M&E system including reporting system for donor;
• Provide guidelines and work with provincial partner to supervise data collection for project indicators;
• Make plan and implement monitoring, supervising and evaluating activities in project provinces;
• Participate in field trips to monitor project activities;
• Participate in the training, workshop on M&E, relevant information provided by USAID, other organizations when required;
• Participate in some research activities of the project;
• Do the other work as required by the project.
