PSI/Vietnam currently seeks a qualified & high motivated individual to work as Monitoring & Evaluation/Research (M&E/R) Consultant with our dynamic, results-oriented team

This position will be the part-time, 01-year contract and will report to Senior Manager – Knowledge Management and Communication (KMC).

Position summary: The incumbent will participate in the design, implementation, and documentation of PSI’s M&E and Research activities for insight generation and program improvement in multiple health areas/initiatives including but not limited to reproductive health, malaria, EOC, digital health.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Consultant could work at flexible time meaning he/she could be requested to work at home on specific assignments and submit products/outcomes at the requested deadline.
• Entering, cleaning, monitoring and/or verifying data in accordance with PSI’s policies, best practices as well as donor requirements
• Contributing to research design and data collection as requested
• Translating, reviewing, and supporting the writing of research materials, reports, proposals, and program brief.

Expected deliverables:  Will be determined and agreed on a quarterly basis including but not limited to the following:

• Completed and cleaned data sets  
• Completed research reports
• Completed proposals, reports, and program brief

Selection criteria

• Have a relevant education in public health, behavioral sciences, population studies, social sciences, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in related M&E/R
• Experience with computer software for data entry and analysis (EPIINFO, SPSS, Stata, or similar platforms;)
• Proven analysis capability
• Fluency in English & Vietnamese.
