National Consultant for the Consultancy Assignment Secondary Analysis of Child Marriage Issue from Available Data Sources

UNICEF Viet Nam is looking for a national consultant for the consultancy assignment Secondary Analysis of Child Marriage Issue from Available Data Sources (TOR as attached).

Qualifications and experience required:

• Education: at least a master degree in gender and development, or social related field;
• At least 10-years of experience in research, particularly research on gender, child marriage and/or related issues;
• Excellent knowledge and insight of the development context of Viet Nam, especially with regard to gender, child marriage, and related policies, guidelines and programmes;
• Familiarity or previous working experiences with multiple research methodologies.
• Good working experience and familiarity with UNICEF visions and programming on child protection;
• Experience in working with the Governments. Previous experience working Vietnam is preferred;
• Knowledge of the social work and child protection situation in Viet Nam as preferable;
• Excellent ability to synthesize disparate research components into a comprehensive summary ;
• Excellent English writing skills demonstrated in academic papers or reports.
