National Consultant(s) for the Consultancy Assignment Nutrition Specialist(s) for Emergency Response

Consultancy Notice CSD 2016-01

UNICEF Viet Nam is looking for individual national consultant(s) for the consultancy assignment Nutrition Specialist(s) for Emergency Response.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Advanced university degree in Public Health, Nutrition or a related technical field
  • At least 5 years of experience in social development planning and management in nutrition and/other related areas (MCH) is required, at least two of which field based dealing with large-scale emergencies or displaced/refugee situations.
  • At least 5 years with progressive experience working in emergency contexts in implementation of health and nutrition programmes and coordinated nutrition assessments.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required.
  • Sound judgement is required in follow-up on requests; high degree of accuracy is important. Ability to meet tight deadlines through excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Good computer knowledge.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
