National Consultants for Video Clips for Project

National consultants to write scripts and provide technical support for the production of 10 video clips for the Project for Improving our capacity to respond and mitigate COVID-19’s impact on TB, HIV and Malaria programs in Vietnam.

HPA is a UK based international NGO founded in 1984, originally under the name Health Unlimited. Our mission is to strengthen poor and marginalized people in their struggle for health. We specialize in communicable disease and maternal health programmes in underserved communities and through cross-border programmes. HPA views health as an issue of social justice, recognizing that the greatest causes of poor health worldwide are political, social and economic injustices, and we prioritize those who are missed out by others, making neglected and marginalized populations our highest priority, applying culturally-appropriate methodologies that meets the specific needs of marginalized groups. We build strong, lasting relationships in these communities and forge effective collaborations between health staff and communities across national borders. HPA currently implements programmes in 16 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Previous and current areas of intervention include malaria, HIV/AIDS, TB, maternal and child health, health system strengthening, health education/BCC, food security and nutrition, water and sanitation, and gender-based violence. Most of the programmes have focused on indigenous populations/ethnic minorities, especially in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. 

Health Poverty Action (HPA) has been working in Vietnam since 2016.

HPA is a sub-recipient of the Global Fund COVID-19 Response Mechanism fund to:

  • To mitigate the impact of COVID-19, and;
  • Reinforce the national response to COIVD-19 in Vietnam.

HPA is currently seeking five national consultants (03 experts in malaria, 01 expert in covid and 01 expert in communication) to write the scripts and provide technical support to a production team who will be responsible for producing 10 video clips for health staff and communities at malaria risk, to sustain and access malaria prevention and treatment services in the context to Covid-19 pandemic context.
