The Digital Skills to Succeed in Asia (DS2S) project, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), aims to enhance digital skills among young university students, especially women, in Bangladesh, India, and Viet Nam to position them for success in the job market. The project collaborates with universities, private sector partners, and government agencies to achieve three outputs: 1) Establishing a Digital Skills Network and country hubs for knowledge exchange, 2) Enhancing faculty capacities through advanced training, and 3) Collaborating with German universities and the private sector to co-design targeted courses called micro-credentials in 3 suites: Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Digital Entrepreneurship for both tech and non-tech students. In Viet Nam, the project works to align with the national strategy and action plans for digital transformation, aimed at leveraging the use of digital technologies in key economic sectors and the public sector.
The Digital Skills to Succeed (DS2S) project is offering an internship opportunity as follow:
National Intern: Digital Learning Support
Duty station: 14 Thuy Khue, Tay Ho District, Hanoi, Viet Nam
Duration: 6 months starting from July 2025
As an Intern for Digital Learning Support, you will work in a small team in Vietnam but also with some interaction with our project teams, partners and contractors in Germany, India and Bangladesh. This will be mainly to assist with the course development and deployment via the learning platform Atingi as well as related communications: https://www.atingi.org
Main activities during the internship
Support in Online Course Development and Management
- Track the progress of content upload and technical issues related to the Atingi platform, and follow up with relevant team members for resolution.
- Assist in reviewing and feedback on instructional design and content structure for blended and online courses.
- Assist in tracking the learner completion of pilot and launched courses on ATINGI platform.
Support in Project Communication and Knowledge Management
- Support in designing course promotion materials (posters, images, testimonials, etc.).
- Collecting media clippings relayed to the 6 university partners in Viet Nam and 3 related topics on Artificial Intelligence, Data and Digital Entrepreneurship.
- Support general (internal) knowledge management tasks.
Support in Online and Offline meeting
- Assist in preparing online meetings, webinars, conferences with project partners.
- Provide technical support during virtual meetings (e.g., screen sharing, breakout rooms, recordings, managing participants, and operating interactive features in Microsoft Teams and relevant applications).
- Prepare summary notes and translations EN/VN, as needed.
Minimum requirements:
- Vietnamese nationality.
- Currently undertaking postgraduate/bachelor studies in edtech, education, communication, information technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in online education, learning design, digital learning platforms, e-learning, and international cooperation.
- Experience in development of digital learning materials is a plus.
- Experience in or knowledge of the digital education sector is an asset.
- Independent and well-organized with good communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and handle multi-tasks.
- Customer-oriented and strong sense of responsibility.
- Experiences in an intercultural and multi-lingual context gained by way of internships and/or academic exchanges.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
- The internship requires university enrolment or the finalization of your degree no longer than six months ago upon commencement of the internship.
