Recruitment Position: Office Administration Officer (replacing the incumbent officer due to maternity leave)
Speciality: Administration and Human Resources
Working location: Head Office of MCD in Hanoi and areas of MCD’s operation in localities
About MCD
Centre for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development (MCD) is a Vietnamese non-governmental organization and was established in 2003, working in the field of promoting effective management of marine resources and environment, improving community life and sustainable development in coastal areas.
MCD has had working experience in over ten coastal provinces, mobilizing resources and implementing over 75 projects with different scales, cooperating with domestic and international agencies, organizations and enterprises. MCD projects are focused on two main topics: (1) Natural resource management, marine and coastal environment protection; and (2) Sustainable livelihoods and coastal community development. MCD promotes the integration of cross-cutting issues such as gender equality, plastic waste reduction into the ocean, climate change adaptation, with the participation of young people and the community.
MCD administrative department is a solid support, facilitating and supporting the effective implementation of programs and governance or organizational development.
MCD is recruiting candidates for the position of Office Administration Officer (replacing the incumbent officer due to maternity leave)
This is an opportunity for candidates wishing to mature through the environment of social and professional organizations for community and development; or to attain related expertise and interest in the subject of administration, human resources, and systems administration.
Job description
- Perform administrative works in service of programs and projects: preparing proposals, submitting proposals (directly or via the Internet), documents to
- competent authorities for approval, periodic reports at management levels;
- Perform administrative works related to personnel: Recruiting, reviewing, updating and complying with regulations and policies on labor.
- Perform office administrative works: dispatch, contract, storage and supervision;
- Coordinate the implementation of logistics, receptionist, and office services;
- Manage office assets and working conditions to ensure security, safety and efficiency;
- Implement administrative procedures related to new/amended/supplemented legal documents, procedures for copyright registration, trademark protection, construction, development and brand consolidation.
Qualifications and equirements
- University graduate (postgraduate is an advantage) in one of the relevant fields / majors such as: office management, human resource management, business administration, international relations, law, foreign languages;
- Having at least 3 years of experience with the same position, wishing to devote in the field of development, non-profit;
- Skilled in drafting, analyzing, synthesizing and writing reports;
- Ability to communicate, present and resolve conflict;
- Fluency in computers, internet and social networking applications or platforms;
- Ability to work both in groups and independently;
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese;
- Honest, friendly, thoughtful, eager to learn and have the spirit of service and the understanding of services.
Salary and benefits: Selected candidates will receive salary and benefits based on the competitive level in the market corresponding to their qualifications, competencies and experience.
Duration: Probationary period of one (1) month. Estimated time to start work is from August 15, 2020 to March 30, 2021. This is a definite contract, in place of the incumbent officer due to maternity leave.
