Operations and Procurement Manager

Chemonics International seeks an operations and procurement manager for an upcoming USAID-funded clean energy project. The USAID-funded five-year project is based in Hanoi and aims to strengthen the foundation for low emission energy systems in Vietnam, working with the government and private sector representatives to achieve the following results:
1. Enhance capacity to acquire, manage, analyze, and use energy sector data in decision-making
2. Increase energy efficiency in high energy use sectors
3. Increase public and private investment in and piloting of renewable energy technologies

Successful candidates should possess the following:
- Minimum 3 years working in procurement with USAID funding
- Minimum 3 years working in operations or office management
- Experience managing staff
- Experience in grants and contract management
- Understanding of USAID policies and regulations and how they apply to procurement
- Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and versatility
- Experience engaging effectively with a range of diverse stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to manage a diverse range of professional relationships
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Vietnamese
