Operations Department Officer

I. SUMMARY:

Good Neighbors is an international non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements, and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief project.

In 1996, Good Neighbors received the prestigious General Consultative Status with the United Nations and in 2007, we were awarded the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Award by the United Nations. Up to 2012, GNI has operated in 29 field countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. GNI is supported by 03 sponsor countries: Korea, Japan and the United State. GNI in Vietnam was established in 2005 and has implemented various projects on training, hunger alleviation and poverty reduction in Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang and Thanh Hoa. Currently GNI in Vietnam is in need of recruiting the following position:

1.   Position: Operations department Officer
2.   Work place: Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province

II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Planning and monitoring activities related to community development (water supply and sanitation, agriculture…).
- Coordinate with project partners in the implementation of project activities; collecting and checking vouchers.
- Report project activities related to project management.
- Participate in the development of local POA.

III.  OTHER RESPONSIBILITY
- Support the work of education assistance as requires of project management.
- Participate in all activities related to activities of volunteer groups.
- Research and recommend ideas for the new project model, new project activities.
- Perform other duties consistent with the capacity of the managers.
- Take part in training courses when required

IV. SKILLS NEEDED
- English capacity (C level)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)

- Enthusiastic and active
