Paid Internship

Bloom Microventures is a non-profit social enterprise committed to using microfinance and pro-poor/agricultural tourism for poverty reduction. Our mission is to assist small-scale farmers in harnessing their own capabilities by providing access to resources and opportunities to invest, produce, and participate in markets.

We are looking for an intern to assist with our project in Hoa Binh (based in Hanoi) for 6 months. The intern will have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time position at the organization upon successful completion of the internship.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting and updating information of microcredit clients in the project and maintaining their profile database for monitoring and communications.
• Taking travellers on rural adventure and microcredit-funding trips to Hoa Binh
• Assisting in the execution of our Educational Travel programs

Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th year students
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Experience in tour leading is an advantage

Working hours and locations:

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm in our office in Hanoi
• Saturday: 8am-6pm in Hoa Binh
• The intern is expected to work extra hours in Hanoi or Hoa Binh if necessary and will get paid for the extra work.

Compensation: 3,000,000VND/month
