Part-time Driver
Bread for the World – Protestant Development Service (BftW-PDS) is a German non-government organisation. As an ecclesial organisation BftW-PDS works the globe to contribute to an inclusive socio-economic development to overcome poverty. The key guiding principles are social justice and ecological responsiblity.
The regional office (VEST) for Vietnam and Laos in Hanoi is cooperating with local and international partner organisation since 1996.
For our operations in Vietnam and Laos, we are looking for a Part-time Driver
Duties and Responsibilities
The main purpose of the job is to provide a safe and transport service for VEST Vietnam – Laos Regional office’s staff to field visit with the Vietnam and Laos. Core duties include, but are not limited to:
- Check of the vehicle before go to field visit e.g.: tyre pressures, hydraulic fluid, oil, etc.
- Keeping the vehicle clean after the field visit
- Keeping an accurate record of all journeys
- Ensuring the safety and security of the vehicle and passengers in your care
- Logistical and organizational support to project staffs
- Reports to the Administrative Officer immediately any problems regarding the functionality of the vehicle taking place and/or any damages observed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Essential skills required
- Minimum of 5 years driving experience, preferably with an official development cooperation orgarnization
- Able to communicate basic in English
- Driving experience – 4 WD and off road under difficult condition
- How to use navigation system on Google
- Formal training as an official driver from B2
