Portfolio Programming Officer

The Government of Republic of Korea (GoK) established the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) in 1987 with the purpose of promoting economic cooperation between South Korea and developing countries. Drawing on Korea’s own development experience over the years, the EDCF assists partner countries by providing funding for their industrial development and economic stability.
Entrusted by GoK, the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Korea Eximbank or KEXIM) is responsible for the administrative operation of the EDCF, including appraisal of project, execution of the loan agreements, and loan disbursements. Other duties include principal/interest payments collection, project supervision, and ex-post evaluation of project operations.
Hanoi Representative Office of KEXIM was established in 2011. Our main activities include: (1) identifying and formulating new projects; (2) monitoring on-going projects; and (3) establishing and broadening professional network with various agencies of the Government of Vietnam (GoV) and other development partners.
