Position: Program and Institutional Fundraising Manager

FOUR PAWS Viet is a Vietnamese NGO - partner of FOUR PAWS International, an animal welfare organization founded in 1988 with the Headquarter in Vienna, Austria, and has offices in 11 other countries.

FOUR PAWS aims to support the conservation of wild animals and prevent them from trade and exploitation while rescuing and rehabilitating those animals caught in the wildlife trade, to campaign for improved policy and enforcement through our work and the work of our partners and to raise public awareness for the need of biodiversity protection and conservation of wild animals and their habitats. The BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh has come into operation in November 2017.

FOUR PAWS Viet is searching for positive thinking people with great dedication and passion to animal welfare as soon as possible:

Position: Program and Institutional Fundraising Manager (m/f)
Fulltime / BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh, close to Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam

Main duties:

• Implementation of FOUR PAWS’ programs and projects which are carried out in Vietnam.
  
  • Working with concerned Program/Project Manager(s) to implement FOUR PAWS’ programs and projects in Vietnam.
  • Developing the national project plan and budget, followed the instructions of the Headquater and FOUR PAWS’ respective Department(s)

• Conception and development of animal welfare related project strategies and goals for FOUR PAWS in Vietnam
  
  • Contribution to the relevant professional and juridical knowledge regarding national legislation and to other legal, economic and social conditions and regulations for animal welfare in Vietnam
  • Policy advocacy activities in Vietnam

• Support in planning and evaluation of programs and projects on international level
  
  • Planning and supporting research activities in Vietnam
  • Monitoring national animal welfare topics
  • Maintaining of contacts and constructive relationships with relevant stakeholders and public institutions

• Applying for funds and grants in Vietnam
  
  • Looking for different institutional funding opportunities for FP Viet.
  • Preparing necessary documents for FP Viet to apply for funds and grants.
  • Preparing necessary reports for the donors

• Others as assigned by FOUR PAWS Viet’s Director

Requirements:

• Holding relevant bachelor or master’s degree in laws, environment, biology or education.
• Well understanding of the legal system in Vietnam
• Experienced in working with Vietnamese government agencies and international donors
• Very good written and spoken English and Vietnamese
• Computer literacy (MS Office requested)
• Experience in animal welfare work is an advantage
• Experience in policy advocacy is an advantage
• High level of responsibility and personal drive
• Creative and strategic thinking person
• Willingness to travel
• Dedication and passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS values and issues
