Program Coordinator
Vacancy: Program Coordinator, Hanoi
The Solidarity Center seeks a full-time experienced program coordinator to work in a new office and project funded by USAID in Hanoi, Vietnam, focused on promoting labor rights, gender equality, and workplace health and safety. The Solidarity Center is a Washington DC-based, non-profit organization that promotes labor rights globally.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the country program director in project planning and development, including designing proposals and project activities, implementation and monitoring and evaluation.
- Coordinate on a regular basis with local partners, organizations and government representatives to achieve program objectives.
- Participate in training programs, including forums, seminars and workshops.
- Represent the Solidarity Center and develop relationships with partners, employer and government representatives.
- Assist in the drafting of program reports.
- Provide oral interpretation and written translation.
Key qualifications and skills:
- Proficiency in Vietnamese and English.
- University degree
- Minimum 3 years experience working with international organizations.
- Flexibility, good organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure and without close supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel in country.
