Organization Overview
Founded in 2006, Action or the City is a young, dynamic and innovative local non-governmental organization. Our programs now focus on three key areas: (i) promoting a sustainable lifestyle through behavior change projects in workplaces, neighborhoods, and in schools; (ii) supporting the production and consumption of organic produce and (iii) improving public spaces.
With growing project portfolios of quality projects focusing on urban areas, we are committed to making Hanoi a livable city for all. Since 2008, with funding from AusAID, Action for the City has supported farmers in Soc Son, Hanoi to grown organic vegetables. In December 2010 Action for the City received support from SPARK to develop a social enterprise to distribute organic vegetables. For more information, please see www.rauthanhxuan.com 
The position of a Program Advisor is now required to meet the rapid development of the organization.

Position Overview
The main purpose of this position is to advise the management of the social enterprise on business development. The Program Advisor will report to the Program Manager. This position requires skills and knowledge in business management and or projects related to value chain.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement the business plan of the social enterprise.
- Coach the management of the social enterprise in human resource, sales and financial management
- Develop and implement a marketing and sales plan, ensure to achieve sales targets
- Implement and periodically review the business standard processes

Qualifications:
Required:
-  Bachelor’s degree or higher in business
- A minimum of three years professional experience as a team leader or higher operational management position in business or business project management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese

Preferred:
- Work experience with an NGO or international development organization
- Experience in projects that involve farmers

Compensation
The salary for this position is competitive.
