Programme Analyst, Women’s Economic Empowerment

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN WOMEN) invites applications for Programme Analyst, Women’s Economic Empowerment

The Programme Analyst is responsible for coordinating the UN Women programme portfolio in the area of Women’s Economic Empowerment in the context of climate change. The Programme Analyst analyzes political, social and economic trends and coordinated formulation, management and evaluation of programme activities within his/her portfolio, provides policy advice services, and actively contributes to advocacy, partnership development and UN coordination in her/his assigned area.

Candidates should have Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, international development, or a related field, and at least 2 years relevant work experience in development programme/project implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and capacity building in the area of gender equality and women’s empowerment. Fluency in English and the official national language is required.
