PROGRAMME ASSISSTANT

BETTER HEALTH PROGRAMME

BHP Vietnam is a 3.5-year programme funded by the UK Government’s Prosperity Fund and aims to reduce non-communicable disease (NCD) burden in Vietnam by improving access to safe, quality care using equitable, ethical and sustainable approaches. The programme will accomplish this through the implementation of a set of activities in the following areas: 1) Strategies to Counter NCDs; 2) Education and Training; and 3) Provider Performance Improvement.

We are currently seeking a qualified and highly motivated Vietnamese national candidate to for the following consultancy:

Position: part-time Programme Assistant, Better Health Programme (BHP) – Maximum 16 hours a week.
Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

Duties

  • Conduct administrative and financial duties assigned by BHP team
  • Arrange all necessary logistics for the activities of both programme, such as workshops, trainings e.g. photocopy of materials, arrange transport, supply stationery.
  • Maintain effectively communication system and ensure information flow between BHP and relevant parties.
  • Provide support for other health projects’ activities as requested by the Team Leader and members.
  • Others if required.

Selection criteria:

  • University degree of relevant areas (economic, finance)
  • At least 5 year experience working in the field of both finance and administration
  • Good computer skills on Word, Excel and e-mail applications
  • Good reading English skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision
