In Vietnam, Oxfam is recognized as one of the leading international NGOs, especially in rural development, disaster risk reduction and humanitarian response, civil society development, ethnic minorities, and women’s empowerment.

We are looking for a young Vietnamese graduate to fill the following position:

PROGRAMME INTERN
(Oxfam Hong Kong)
Reference number: The post is a 12 months contract, based in Hanoi but with frequent travel. Allowance is based on OHK’s intern policies. 

The Role: Provide support to the team
Report to: Pro-Poor Markets Program Officer
Staff reporting to this post: NA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Provide interpretation and translation of project documents, correspondence, reports.
2.Provide general administrative support including filing, sending and circulating mail, fax; photocopying, travel booking, etc.
3.Attend meetings, take notes and prepare meeting minutes.
4.Communicate and support partners and other agencies in program implementation;
5.Provide supports in project’s budget monitoring, cash advance and clear advance.
6.Provide logistic arrangements for events (meetings, workshops, trainings) and do preparation for field trips; and
7.Travel to field in short notice.
8.Perform others tasks as required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE

Job Specific Competencies

- Vietnamese national;
- University degree;
- Very good command of English, including interpretation and translation from Vietnamese to English and vice-versa (this will be tested);
- Good computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications;
- Passionate about Oxfam's mission of working with others to overcome poverty, suffering and injustice;
