Programme Manager

Lien AID (www.lienaid.org) is an international non-profit organisation guided by a mission to enable sustainable access to clean water and proper sanitation for rural poor communities in Asia. Initiated in 2006 through the Lien Foundation, Lien AID is headquartered in Singapore with programmes in Cambodia, China and Myanmar. Through partnerships with local governments, civil society organisations and active participation of the villagers, we hope to provide the impetus for better water governance and a future where clean water and sanitation is available to everyone.

We are seeking a passionate, creative and meticulous candidate to fill the role of Programme Manager. Based in Vietnam, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of Lien AID’s project, bringing positive impact to the communities we help.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and implement the intervention programme based on organisation’s programming life cycle and expected outcomes. Activities include conduct of research, needs assessments, review of technical solutions feasibility, behavior changes curriculum, local communities mobilise plan and etc.
  • Foster and manage partnerships and stakeholders, such as government agencies, service providers, other organisations and local communities to facilitate the conduct of effective assessments, implementation, and maintenance of the projects.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports in accordance to standard operating procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments to manage relationships with donors, strategic partners and volunteers.

Requirements:

  • Master/Bachelor degree with at least 5 years working relevant experience.
  • Experience in rural water and sanitation or rural communities programme development and implementation, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of water, sanitation, and environmental issues in Vietnam, will be advantageous.
  • A strategic thinker and team player with a flexible hand-ons approach to work.
  • Frequent travel to rural Vietnam is necessary.
  • Good command of written and spoken English is must.
