Programme Procurement Officer

MAG is an international humanitarian non-governmental organization clearing remnants of conflicts in current and former conflict zones. Present in Vietnam since 1999, MAG has been working to maximize community safety and help those most-at risk reduce their chance of being in a UXO accident.

We are seeking a fully qualified Programme Procurement Officer to join our Logistics Department, which strategic input and overview of logistics function of the MAG Vietnam Programme.

Major functions: The Programme Procurement Officer has the principal responsibility to ensure the management of all procurement within the MAG Vietnam project, including completing the full supply chain cycle from vendors to operational and support teams.

Key requirements for the position include:

  • Graduated in an appropriate subject (business, finance, logistics, or accounting).
  • Must be able to work and communicate in English.
  • Desirable experience in managing diverse procurement and logistics operations.
  • MS Office software skills and experience of database use.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Honest and have integrity.
  • Accountability – takes responsibility for actions.
  • Client Orientation – works effectively well with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Good planning and personal organisation skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and busy environment.
