Project Assistant

RCEE Energy and Environment is inviting applications for the position of MEET-BIS PROJECT ASSISTANT based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

MEET-BIS PROJECT -- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MEET-BIS is the abbreviation for ‘Mainstreaming Energy Efficiency through Business Innovation Support’.
MEET-BIS is a four-year project funded by the Switch Asia program of the EC and implemented by a consortium of two Vietnamese and three Dutch partner organisations: RCEE, IBCI, AdaPPPt, Aidenvironment and ETC Foundation. The project runs from April 2009 to March 2013, with a possibility of extension. The project objective is to promote sustainable production of urban based small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. The MEET-BIS project aims to assist key private sector players to develop commercial markets for their energy and water efficiency products targeting SMEs.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS - Under the supervision of the Dutch Project Manager (PM):

Administration:
- Project administration: time sheets managements, meeting minutes, archiving system management and team’s KPIs evaluation control.
- Office administration: office supplies, translations, telephone receipts, etc., Project assistant: workshops, meetings, trainings, seminars, exhibitions and other project activities.
- Others requested by project manager and project coordinator.

Finance and accounting:
- Carry out, maintain, monitor and record all financial services related to suppliers; partners and project.
- Control request for payments, contracts to ensure data is reconciled with project’s financial management system.
- Monitor cashbook and bankbook, office equipment, management of project budget.
- Control and balance approved project budget and payments.
- Prepare monthly and annual finance reports.
- Others requested by project manager and accountant department of ETC Foundation

The ideal candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting major
- At least one year experience working in the field of both finance and administration
- Good computer skills on Word, Excel and e-mail applications
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams
- Fluency in written and spoken English

Salary offered
The net salary offered ranges from 6'000'000 VND to 7'500'000 VND per month and depends on qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will be employed through the project's local partner, RCEE JSC (www.rcee.vn)
