Project Assistant

ILSI japan CHP in Vietnam is a Non-Government Organization representing the ILSI Japan International network. ILSI Japan CHP in Vietnam is a creative organization, working with Vietnamese partners in the sectors of health.
ILSI Japan CHP in Vietnam is looking for an experienced and qualified Vietnamese national to fill the Project Assistant position for a re-integration support project named Micronutrient Fortified Rice in Red Rive delta area.

Position information:

Position title: Project Assistant
Contract: One year contract with high potential for extension
Work station: National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), 48B Tang Bat Ho, Hanoi with travel to project sites as required in Red river delta area

Position Summary: The Project Assistant will

(1) Assistant work for Rice fortification Project

- Daily and Field works, to assist Project Manager/Coordinator
- Follow to implement the work plan of the Project
- Work in close partnership with local partners and community-based organizations
- Arrange transportation and accommodation
- Arrange schedule between Vietnamese and Japanese side
- Develop meeting minutes, monthly working outcome
- Develop financial report
- Translate documents into English and Vietnamese

(2) Office administration

- Arrange NGO registration and administration in Vietnam
- Report administrative expenses, petty cash and bank account
- Develop monthly financial reports

Selection criteria

- A bachelor’s degree. Medical/public health-related background is preferable.
- Under 30 years old (man is preferable)
- Good computer skills on Word, Excel and e-mail applications
- Good written and reading English skills
- Good communication and interpersonal kills. Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision
