Project Assistant

SUSFORM-NOW project is looking for an experienced and qualified applicant to fill in Project Assistant in charge of livelihood improvement. SUSFORM-NOW is a JICA's technical cooperation project jointly implemented with the government of Vietnam in Dien Bien Province. Position title: Project Assistant

Job description:
- Support the Livelihood Improvement Expert to communicate with Vietnamese in English;
- Accompany the Japanese experts for the field trips;
- Collect and store all relevant data, information, communication, reports etc.;
- Support the Livelihood Improvement Expert to prepare documents, reports, etc.;
- Following up activities of the Livelihood Improvement Expert according to the instructions of him and the other JICA Experts of the SUSFORM-NOW Project, in the period when the Expert is out of Vietnam; and
- Assist the Japanese Experts in other tasks if required.

Job requirement:
- Education level: More than Bachelors;
- Career level: more than two years’ job experience. (Experiences of working for international organizations and/or in the field of livelihood improvement of mountainous villages would be highly appreciated.);
- Language level: Fluent in both English and Vietnamese (Required English level is equivalent of TOEFL(ibt) 68, TOEIC 630 or IELTS 5.5);
- Proficient in computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) etc.;
- Willing to work in a cross cultural environment;
- Willing to work and travel in Dien Bien Province; and
- Willing to work for long term more than one year.

Contract: One year contract with potential for extension, full-time position
Salary: Determined based upon the experience and capability of the candidate hired. Allowance for housing and subsistence will be provided for the employee whose basis is outside of Dien Bien province.
Base in:Dien Bien Phu City / Dien Bien Province
