Project Coordinator

Centre for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP) is a science and technology organization under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. CSIP promotes development of social enterprises and social initiatives by building a social entrepreneurship movement in Vietnam and in the SEA region. Established in 2008, CSIP aims to provide direct investment and support to people and social enterprises who apply innovative and sustainable business solutions to solve social and environmental issues.

Recently, CSIP is supported by USAID/Vietnam to implement the project: Improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc provinces (hereinafter referred to as CSIP- Inclusion 3). CSIP- Inclusion 3 aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities, regardless of cause, by expanding and improving rehabilitation and social services, enhancing policy implementation, and building service provider capacity of national and local government disabilities agencies as well as community disabilities organizations in targeted provinces.

CSIP and Vietnam Association of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims (VAVA) have signed a Cooperation Agreement (CA) under the framework of Inclusion 3 project. This CA aims to improve the management capacity, direct and implement activities, programs on supporting victims of agent orange/dioxin of the Central Committee and the Associations in 8 provinces/cities within the project area. Support activities includes (i) Organizing training courses to improve governance capacity, project management, (ii) Building capacity for resource mobilization and management, (iii) Developing and implementing care and rehabilitation models for victims of agent organge, (iv) Developing livelihood models suitable for victims and their families, (v) Completing information system of Agent Orange victims in 8 project provinces, and (iv) Providing office equipment.

To support VAVA operation, we are looking for qualified personnel for the Project Coordinator position. This individual is responsible for facilitating the project activities under VAVA’s management and in close coordination with CSIP and other project partners.
