About Us:

A global healthcare social enterprise is looking for a Vietnamese Project Coordinator to support them in several strategic initiatives in Vietnam. The social enterprise recently received ~US$3M in funding to establish a high-end facility in Vietnam to provide comprehensive eye care services to Vietnamese people in need. The co-founders are highly seasoned healthcare/finance professionals with extensive experience in ophthalmology, finance, social entrepreneurship and international development.

David Green, CEO: a world leader in the Affordable Eye Care sector, with a 30-year track record of creating disruptive technology and business models in the sector to accelerate growth. He is masterful at adapting the Affordable Eye Care model to different contexts in diverse emerging markets, throughout Asia, to Latin America and Africa. This experience has equipped him with unparalleled relationships in the sector, perhaps most critically with the leading non-profit Affordable Eye Care organizations that have robust training programs. David has played an instrumental role in creating, or leading major organizational changes for these leading firms to achieve scale and profitability.

Benjamin Midberry, CFO: formerly a Vice President at Deutsche Bank's Global Social Finance group, co-founder of GlobalVision whose mission is to create a network of affordable eye care organizations that treat the leading causes of preventable blindness among low income patients in emerging markets.

Job Title: Project Coordinator – fulltime

Location: Hanoi

Job Description:

• Coordinate and actively manage on-going collaboration with the global team to establish Alina Vision’s first eye hospital in Vietnam.
• Support and follow-up with different key stakeholders including local authorities, architects… to drive the projects forward
• Support project leaders and ad-hoc activities to ensure important tasks are delivered on time and of high quality

Requirements:

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a good university either abroad or in Vietnam
• Strong communication skills in Vietnamese and English in both writing and speaking
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
• Good team player with positive attitude and strong sense of integrity and responsibility
• Self-starter with strong sense of curiosity and ownership
• Strong attention to details

Good to have:

• Passion or curiosity about social entrepreneurship, healthcare related to eye vision in Vietnam
• Basic understanding of hospital operations in Vietnam
• Experience with community development works in Vietnam
