Project Coordinator & Project Facilitator

Foundation for International Development / Relief (FIDR) is a Japanese non-profit organization which is permitted by PACCOM in Vietnam. FIDR implements community development projects in Quang Nam province and Kon Tum province.

FIDR is now seeking a qualified Vietnamese national staffs for the position of Project Coordinator, based in Ngoc Hoi, Kon Tum province, working for Kon Tum Province Child Nutrition Improvement Project (CNIP) in Dak Glei and Dak To districts and Project Facilitators, based in Danang city, working for Projects  which are conducted in mountainous districts in Quang Nam Province. We strongly encourage people who already have some previous working experience, and want to seek their professional career in the field of humanitarian aid, to apply for this position.

1.    Project Coordinator (PC)

PC shall coordinate and facilitate to implement project in Dak Glei and Dak To districts, Kon Tum province in close cooperation with local partner and people.

Main responsibilities
-    Work in close collaboration and communication with other staffs of the project team, project partners, and concerned organizations to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of project activity
-    Coordination and implementation of the project activities.
-    Build capacity for local partner project management.
-    Monitor, evaluate and report on project activities and is supervised by Project Manager
-    Cooperate directly with local partners, interact with team members and assist Project Manager
-    Translation as required by supervisors

Qualification

-    University graduate in a relevant field (preferably health/nutrition etc.)
-    At least 3 years of proven working experience on relevant project
-    Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
-    Very good computer (MS-Excel, Word, etc.) and data analysis skills
-    Project planning, implementing and report writing skills
-    Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
-    Ability to travel and work at remote areas

2.    Project Facilitator (PF)

Main responsibilities:   Under the supervision of Project Manager,
-    Translation  as required by supervisors
-    Implement and monitor project activities based on supervising by senior project staffs
-    Assist in research, planning and evaluation of the projects
-    Conduct project activity with local government, local residents, and other stakeholders
-    Produce reports on project activities

Qualification:

-    High commitment to working for the vulnerable people such as children and the poor.
-    Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, and strong sense of responsibility
-    University degree with minimum of two (2) years of working experience, preferably in the field of the community development / humanitarian work sector
-    Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
-    Good computing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-    Able and willing to travel frequently to project sites in Quang Nam province
