The Opportunity - Project Intern

This position is reponsilbe for assisting the project team in implementing and monitoring activities of “School health and Nutrition (SHN)” project as well as other projects under Health and Nutrition program. SHN project’s intervention includes organising communication events, extra classes, community meetings, renovation of latrine areas which contribute to improve the learning environment at schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project team in preparing supporting documents for project reports such as translating documents, scanning papers, providing logistics for events (if required)
  • Assist in implementation of “School health and Nutrition” project activities
  • Provide support for other projects under Health and Nutrition program
  • Arrange logistics for field trips, meetings and workshops and provide meeting minutes for relevant meetings;
  • Filing project documents;
  • Phone, fax, mails, scan, print, photocopy, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • University degree in relevant area.

Experience and Skills

Essential

  • Good spoken and written English language skills;
  • Good computer skills including MS Office, Excel, Power Point
  • Positive attitude to work with teachers and students;
  • Able to travel frequently to project sites;
  • Faithfulness, hard-working, details oriented, good interpersonal skill & ability to work in a team

Desirable

  • Good communication and organization skill and ability to complete a wide range of tasks;
  • Commitment to Save the Children values
