Project Interpreter

Health Sector Capacity Support Project is funded by the European Union and managed by the Vietnam Ministry of Health. The Project is recruiting 01 qualified staff for the position of PROJECT INTERPRETER under a fixed-term contract period until 18th September 2014. Salary will be paid according to the UN – EU Guidelines for Financing of Local costs in Development Co-operation with Vietnam. This position will be based in the project office in Hanoi.

Applicants for this position must meet the following qualifications and skills:

- University Degree in Foreign Language Studies or project related fields;
- Excellent English and Vietnamese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills;
- Knowledge of government regulations on administrative language, documentation and correspondences;
- Have at least 6 years of experiences in providing translation and interpretation services;
- Good computer skills and experience in common office applications and software;
- Professional experience in translation and interpretation for workshops/training course
- Experience in translation/interpretation in health sector is an advantage.
- Experience in doing simultaneous interpretation is an advantage
