Job Description
The Project Manager position has two parts.
ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT
• Donate libraries to rural elementary schools in the Mekong Delta in 2014.
• Balance organisation budgets and communicate monthly financial spending.
• Approve all donation items for quality, such as: tables, chairs, shelving, Vietnamese language children's books, globes, etc.
• Ensure the quality of our programs at each library donation.
• Work with government to register The Library Project in Vietnam.
• Manage a small team of 2-3 employees.
• You will be building an organisation from the "ground up" in Vietnam. If you like challenges, you will really enjoy this position.
• Help create a fun, exciting and enjoyable place to work.
FUNDRAISING SUPPORT
• Support the raising of funds for Vietnam library donations.
• Raising awareness in Vietnam.
• Creating and supporting a volunteer network in Vietnam.
• A bonus is available for Vietnam funds raised.
Job Requirement
• Must enjoy children, travel and challenges.
• University graduate
• 2 years work experience.
• 2 years work experience in NGO or development.
• Must be able to work with government authorities at the city and rural levels.
• Must be competent at Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Honest, want to be a part of a results oriented team, and enjoy helping others.
• Good spoken and written English skills.
