Project Manager on Child-focused HIV and AIDS Prevention

Vacancy: Project Manager on Child-focused HIV and AIDS Prevention   
Based in Hanoi

They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Manager for ‘Child- Focused HIV and AIDS Prevention, Care and Supports Project’.  The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities
Project manager is responsible for managing and ensuring effective implementation as well as high impact of the EC-funded child focused project, including planning, budgeting, management, and documentation of lessons learned.

Key Competencies:
- University degree in a relevant field: Health, human rights, etc
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in HIV/AIDS and care/support for children affected by HIV including demonstrated capacity in programme management
- Understanding of HIV and AIDS, policy advocacy and child rights
- Experience in working with government counterparts at the provincial and district levels
- Experience in preparing and managing budgets in financial systems used by SCiV preferred
- Experience in managing and supervising staffs with strong liaison and interpersonal skills
- Skillful in program planning, monitoring, and facilitating meetings, workshops
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Good computer skills in Word, Excel and Email.
