Project Manager; Project Coordinator

Foundation for International Development / Relief (FIDR) is a Japanese non-profit organization which is permitted by PACCOM in Vietnam. FIDR implements community development projects in Quang Nam province and Kon Tum province.

In the strategy of expanding the operation in Viet Nam, FIDR has been implementing a Kon Tum Province Child Nutrition Improvement Project (CNIP) in Dak Glei and Dak To districts, Kon Tum province, aiming to improve nutrition status for children under two (2) years old. FIDR is now seeking two qualified Vietnamese national staffs for the position of Project Manager and Project Coordinator, working for this project in Kon Tum province based. We strongly encourage people who already have some previous working experience, and want to seek their professional career in the field of humanitarian aid, to apply for this position.

1.Project Manager (PM)

PM is responsible for the overall management of the project based on mission and strategy of FIDR, including the supervision, consultation and technical support over project staff, stakeholders and related organizations.

Main responsibilities
- Be responsible for project management of CNIP in Kon Tum province in close cooperation with local government, partners and people.
- Overall responsible for partnership and support the project officers for managing partnership with the province, districts and communes for implementing project activities, coordination,  and networks.
- Carry out project management, coordination and implementation of the project activities.
- Build capacity for local partners and project team members on project management.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on project activities and financial spending
- Report to Country Representative of FIDR Vietnam and FIDR headquarter.

Qualification
- University degree, preferably health/nutrition, social sciences related or/and management, post graduate degree is preferred
- At least five years of proven working experience as a PM and on community development project.
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate well, even on sensitive and difficult topics with government officers as well as communities
- Fluent in spoken and writing English
- Very good computer (MS-Excel, Word, etc.) and data analysis skills
- Experienced with project design, implementation, including baseline surveys and M & E and report writing skills
- Familiar with writing report and training materials
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team. Supervisory experience is a necessity
- Strong understanding of key aspects of community-led development work
- Ability to travel and work at remote areas

2.Project Coordinator (PC)

PC shall coordinate and facilitate to implement project in Dak Glei and Dak To  districts, Kon Tum province in close cooperation with local partner and people.

Main responsibilities
- Work in close collaboration with other staffs of the project team, project partners, and concerned organizations to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of project activity
- Coordination and implementation of the project activities.
- Build  capacity for local partner project management.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on project activities to and is supervised by Project Manager
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Cooperate directly with local partners, interact with team members and assist Project Manager

Qualification
- University graduate in a relevant field (preferably health/nutrition etc.)
- At least 3 years of proven working experience on relevant project
- Excellent English language skills in speaking and writing
- Very good computer (MS-Excel, Word, etc.) and data analysis skills
- Project planning, implementing and report writing skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to travel and work at remote areas
