Project Officer

Founded in 2006, Action for the City aims to improve quality of life in Vietnamese cities. We are looking for a Project Officer position.

Position Overview

The main purpose of this position is to implement the project on capacity building for youth female to participate in organic production system in Soc Son Ha Noi. The Project Officer will be responsible for implementing the project activities under the supervision of the Program Manager. This position requires skills and knowledge in community development,

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Implement and coordinate project activities such as training course for capacity building, support youth female working in organic production system and organizing sharing meetings.
- Contact and negotiate with partners to ensure the daily management of all planned activities of the project.
- Prepare regular reports to Action for the City and donors.
- Monitor project activities

Qualifications:

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good knowledge and understanding of sustainability, community development
- Strong planning and management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese
Preferred:
- Work experience with an NGO or international development organization
- Experience in organic production and working with youth

Compensation
The salary for this position is competitive.
