We are looking for a National Candidate for:

  • Vacancy:  Project Officer (SHN Program)
  • Based in: Hanoi

Main Responsibilities:

The Project Officer (PO) works directly with Project Manager of School Health and Nutrition project as well as Program Manager, and relevant Project Manager of Health and Nutrition team implement project activities of School Health and Nutrition in Ha Dong district, and activities at national levels. This position is also in charge of MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountabilities and Leaning) activities of Health and Nutrition program including monitoring QB, KPIs, and other MEAL related activities.

Key Competencies:

Essential

  • University degree in public health or social science
  • 2- 4 years of experience working in development projects, especially in health and nutrition 
  • Have practical experience of conducting and/or commissioning evaluation and its methodologies using
  • Good analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills on monitoring and evaluation
  • Strong knowledge and experience in project monitoring and implementation
  • Experience in working with government partners to deliver project activities
  • Experience in managing budget spending of partners
  • Technical skills in using data analysis techniques and softwares (SPSS, IPI data…)
  • Ability to conduct regular travelling to project sites
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of child participation, child right governance is a plus;
  • Good at English speaking and writing;
  • Good computer skills; MS office;

Desirable

  • Have experience working in school health project is an asset
  • Staff management experience is an asset
