Vacancy: Project Officer on Prevention of HIV for Street Youth
Based in Hanoi

They are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Officer for Project NAM. The project aims to prevent the spread of HIV infection to street youth by educating them on risk reduction and creating a supportive environment to access information, social support and services in order to prevent HIV and stay health. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project sites.

Main Responsibilities
The Project Officer is responsible for ensuring effective, efficient project management of project NAM in close coordination with partners under the guidance of the Project Manager. The Project Officer is expected to contribute to the overall program planning, monitoring/reviewing, evaluation and reporting as well as to support other component projects to ensure the program interrelated coherence and synergies.

Key Competencies 
BA Degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., social sciences, development, accounting, economics
At least 3 years working experience in the relevant field
Having financial management experiences with multiple local partners is an advantage
Previous experience in project administration is preferred
Proven capacity to build and maintain effective partnerships with local partners and staff
Excellent teamwork skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good interpersonal, communicational and organizational skills
Good computing skills (word processing, spread sheets, email).
