Vacancy: Project Officer

Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of Project Officer to join our Livelihoods team. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi with travels to project locations.

Main Responsibilities

The Project Officer is responsible for assigned tasks among the implementation of One World Cinema project and Golden Hand microfinance project to provide regular technical support to the projects in : i) conducting surveys, researches and product development, performance monitoring, skill training program design, quality control, etc, ii) exploring and recommending linkages with service providers in BDS and agricultural production programs and iii) training/capacity building activities under the guidance of the project manager of livelihoods program.

Key Competencies
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance and Banking, or Development
• 3-5 years of significiant experience working with poverty-focused projects, the microfinance/banking sector or related field, preferably in training or institutional development capacities
• Excellent training and facilitation skills
• Ability to communicate well with high government officials and local communities
• Experience in project design and implementation, including baseline surveys and evaluations
• Experience in developing resource materials and manuals
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Good computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Commitment to development work
