Vacancy: Project Officer, Child Focused HIV/AIDS Prevention Program
Based in Ho Chi Minh City

They are looking for a qualified Vietnamese national for the position of Project Officer for Child-focused HIV/AIDS Prevention project in the South of Vietnam, which has been implemented in HCMC, and Ca Mau province.

Job Purpose:
The Project Officer will provide direct technical and administrative supports to the implementation of Child-focused project in two districts in Ca Mau Province and also support the implementation of Child-focused project in HCMC. This position will report to the Project Manager in Hanoi.

Key Competencies
- BA Degree in a relevant discipline, e.g., social sciences.
- At least 3 years working experience.
- Understanding of HIV and AIDS and children’s issues is preferable
- Experience in working directly with people/children living with HIV and AIDS (care and support or counselling)
- Familiar with Government, UN and NGOs’ work in Vietnam
- Presentation, facilitation and training skills
- Previous experience in project administration required.
- Financial management experience with local partners preferred.
- Proven capacity to build and maintain effective partnerships with local partners and staff.
- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Good interpersonal, communicational and organizational skills
- Good computing skills (word processing, spread sheets, email).
