The province of Soc Trang with the aid of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is developing and will implement a 5 year plan to help SMEs and contribute to “expanded economic opportunities for poor rural men and women (including ethnic groups).
The Project Management Unit (Department of Planning and Investment of Soc Trang province) is seeking experienced technical assistance team/consultancy to deliver data and analysis that will facilitate the Province to understand the present SME situation, its potential for development and formulate the 5 year PSME plan.
The technical assistance, a (national) team/firm of consultants, that will be responsible for the whole package is to be carried out in March and April 2012.

Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Enviroment (iSEE) is an independent Vietnamese non-profit organization working for a prosperous, democratic and just society. We are expanding our program and looking for a Legal Aid Officer, a Media Officer, an Office Assistant  and a Social Networking Project Manager to join our diverse and compassionate team with different technical background, ethnicity, gender, culture and sexual orientation to effectively cope with emerging issues;

Key responsibilities of Legal Aid Officer
- Coordinate and manage legal aid project for the minorities include networking with laywers, govenremnt agencies, minority communities and other service providers
- Input iSEE work in lobby, advocacy and public education

1. Background
Vietnam Red Cross (VNRC) was founded in 1946 and it is a member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies working mainly in emergency relief, disaster preparedness, community based social and health activities and blood donation.
Spanish Red Cross (SRC) has been present in Viet Nam since 2002 supporting VNRC (its only local partner) in several programs such as organizational capacity building, emergency response, disaster preparedness/management, vocational training and micro-credit.

SNV (Netherlands Development Organisation) in Vietnam is engaged in development cooperation. SNV contributes to poverty reduction through increased income and employment creation for a large group of household, micro and small scale enterprises. Currently, SNV is supporting the development of the cardamom value chain in the Lao Cai province.
SNV would like to invite Vietnamese consulting organizations or Local Capacity Builders to submit a proposal for undertaking the following assignment:
“Research and Development of Technical Manual for Enrichment of Forest Areas where Cardamom is being produced in Lao Cai Province”
The work includes a total of 30 consultancy days and will be implemented in the Lao Cai a province.
