Promotion and Screening Manager

They are managing the AusAID-funded Australian Scholarship for Development in Vietnam (ASDiV) program which is an initiative to provide Vietnam with additional higher learning and leadership capability to be used by graduates to make contributions to priority development areas.

They are seeking applications for the position of Promotion and Screening Manager.
The Promotion and Screening Manager (PSM) will provide support to the Team Leader/ Deputy Team Leader in:
- the development and implementation of the ASDiV Awareness Raising and Promotion Plan in relation to Australia Awards Scholarships in Vietnam; and
- implementing all administrative processes which support the appropriate selection of scholarship awardees.

Your key accountabilities include:
- contributing to the development of a comprehensive annual ASDiV Awareness Raising and Promotion Plan and implementing the plan within the agreed budget;
- ensuring that the ASDiV website and databases contain accurate information;
- developing appropriate media and publicity material and organising media events;
- implementing all procedures relating to the selection and screening of Australia Awards scholarship applicants, including handling all scholarship enquiries;
- preparing Screening Reports for submission to the Joint Selection Committee and providing advice on selection processes and outcomes.

Applicants will need to have a post-graduate degree and have an excellent command of verbal and written English. Applicants will need to demonstrate experience managing databases and analysing statistical data; combined with experience in public relations, media and promotions and in organising public events and functions. Applicants will also need to demonstrate an ability to develop high
quality media and publicity material. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with high attention to detail are essential.
