Protection Pillar Coordinator - ETIP Program

World Vision International – Vietnam (WVV) invites Vietnamese competent candidates for the following position:

PROTECTION PILLAR COORDINATOR - ETIP PROGRAM (01 position), work base: Hanoi.

Main Responsibilities:

The Protection Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the achievement of the goal, outcomes, and outputs which have been designed in the Victim Protection Pillar’s document and logical framework within the planned budgets.

Under the management and leadership of the Project Manager, support from the ETIP (End Trafficking In Persons) programme assistants based in the ADPs and local partners, the Protection Coordinator will ensure that trafficking persons identified in project locations have access to immediate protection services in target communities and that repatriated trafficked persons have access to reintegration services in the provinces of Quang Tri (including Huong Hoa District), Quang Nam (including Nong Son District), Yen Bai (including Tran Yen district).  The protection pillar will provide direct assistance to victims that are identified in project areas, working with multi-disciplinary teams to provide immediate shelter and recovery services, legal assistance, and referral to law enforcement authorities.  Second, the protection pillar will provide reintegration support to repatriated trafficked persons on a case-by-case basis, in partnership with province and district partners.

This position is required to work in interdependency with Prevention Coordinator and Advocacy/Policy Coordinator to ensure the goal of the programme is effectively achieved. The Protection Coordinator will also work with the Prevention Coordinator to promote the integration with Prevention pillar, where the protection activities are implemented in the ADPs. The Protection Coordinator will also provide issue based evidences, lessons learnt to the Advocacy/Policy Coordinator for Advocacy purposes.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree
- Bachelor social science or related fields
- Well-developed representation and negotiation skills.
- Strong influencing and cooperation building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a minimum of supervision, exercise judgment, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Well-developed writing and oral communications skills in both English and Vietnamese.
- High-level computer skills.
- At least 3 years relevant work experience including demonstrated basic capacity in program management.
- Experience in INGO-funded project planning and implementation.
