Job Title: QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OFFICER
Report to: Health Services Coordinator
The Quality Improvement Officer (QI Officer) is responsible for all aspects of Quality Improvement (QI) of services provided by private sector providers (pharmacists, clinics) affiliated with PSI, ensuring they comply with national technical standards as well as project requirements. This position will also be responsible for collecting client data from supported private providers and public referral sites. It requires intensive travel within designated districts/provinces

Job purposes:
Major duties:
The QI Officer will:
- Participate in relevant trainings for private providers.
- Conduct bi-weekly supportive supervision visits to all trained private providers to monitor quality of services, visibility of promotional/IEC materials and adherence to other project requirements using QI and MIS forms.
- Collect data related to client feedback and perceived quality of services in private or public referral sites.
- Send regular, accurate reports to HS Coordinator and/or HS Manager as requested.
- Coordinate with staff members of local Department of Health, Preventive Medicine Center, Provincial AIDS Center, Lung Hospital, etc to provide monthly or bi-monthly monitoring visits project trained private providers to improve adherence to quality service delivery standards for tuberculosis detection, referral for TB treatment and hypertension screening and referral for treatment and other services to be identified.
- Fulfill other tasks as required.

Selection criteria
- Doctor Assistant or Nurse
- At least two years working in active clinical practice, preferences given to those with experience in internal medicine or infection diseases.
- Basic competency in MS suites.
