Radio Producer for Covid-19 Prevention for Children and Teachers

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for:

  • Vacancy: Radio Producer for Covid-19 prevention for children and teachers
  • Location: Vietnam

Consultant’s responsibilities:

In order to aid Vietnamese Ministry of Health, Save the Children are implementing a project to promote communication on COVID-19 prevention to teachers, children in the ethnic minorities and people with disabilities from March to August 2020. Therefore, we are looking for a consultant (team) to support on developing 2 radio broadcasts on COVID-19 prevention guidance for children (1) and teachers (2) in ethnic minority languages.

Two versions of radio broadcasts:

  • Different versions of completed 90s radio broadcast in Kinh and 5 selected ethnic minority languages (Van Kieu, Paco, Khmer, Mong, Thai). The completed product needs to convey messages on Covid-19 prevention guidance.

Main competencies required

These radios require friendly and clear messages; hence, the successful firm/candidate is required to have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated competency and experience with radio broadcasting and messaging
  • Preferably experience working with INGOs or development sectors

Specific tasks and tentative timeline; Deliverables; and other information

  • As per attached SoW

Application package:

  • Technical proposal (no more than 2 pages): Outline and methodology for undertaking such a radio broadcast with a clear message, as well as a brief work plan showing the assignment’s important activities and milestones.
  • Financial proposal: Including a detailed quotation for the production of the radio broadcasts showing all necessary costs.
  • Updated creative portfolio including relevant creative development work and qualifications with at least 03 examples of work (radio, podcast) or creative productions designed and produced by the consultant
