Regional Program Funding Coordinator

Position: Regional Program Funding Coordinator
Location: World Concern Asia Area Office in Bangkok, Thailand    
Reports To: Asia Area Director   
Supervises: None   
Length of Contract: One Year, renewable

Purpose: World Concern seeks a proactive individual with a successful track record of government and institutional fundraising plus direct coordination of proposal development, submission, compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities: 

- Responsible for achieving annual revenue goals for World Concern Asia Area grants, and achieving bottom-line financial goals of the World Concern Asia Area Office.
- Oversee identification and preparation of all major grant proposals for assigned portfolio (governments and overseas foundations/institutional partners), in coordination with the Area & Country Offices.
- Represent World Concern and develop appropriate relationships with various agencies of the US Government and other bilateral agencies, World Bank, Asia Development Bank, UN agencies, and other members of the assigned portfolio.
- Visit project sites as appropriate to develop new program aligned grant proposals
- Responsible for the coordination of and reporting on grants received by World Concern from government agencies, relief and development agencies and field raised donations.
- Develop and maintain communication ties with program areas for acquiring appropriate project resources.
- Cultivate and nurture field developed major donors of World Concern as assigned by the Area Director.
- Represent World Concern’s interest and programs with partner agencies, consortiums, associations, churches and others, as assigned.
- Liaise with World Concern’s Headquarters to identify relationship structures & communication protocols with present and future US Donors to Asia Programs.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

- Spiritually mature follower of Jesus Christ and committed to World Concern’s values and mission.
- Successful experience procuring and reporting of large-scale funding.
- Successful grant administration experience.
- Four year undergraduate degree.

Preferred Education, Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience working and living overseas, especially in a developing nation.
- Previous experience in community development or emergency response grants writing.

Working Conditions:
- Requires travel to different countries in the Asia region.
- Available to work extra hours when workload or deadlines require.
- International travel required.
- Occasional travel to underdeveloped and sometimes insecure areas of the world.
