“TRANSFORMING THE RICE VALUE CHAIN FOR CLIMATE RESILIENT AND

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE MEKONG DELTA – TRVC”

Funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affair and Trade (DFAT), SNV Netherlands Development Organization cooperates with government partners at Central and provincial levels to implement the Project: “Transforming Rice Value Chains for Climate Resilient and Sustainable Development in the Mekong Delta (TRVC)” in three key rice-growing provinces in the Mekong Delta, including An Giang, Dong Thap and Kien Giang from 2023 – 2027.

Using the Pay-for-Results (PfRs) mechanism, the TRVC Project will incentivize and attract the participation of private enterprises in the Rice Value Chain, aiming to scale-up innovative technologies to achieve higher economic outcomes for smallholder farmers (SHFs) and all Rice Value Chain actors, improve rice quality and inclusive social values while reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

We encourage you to submit an application and join us for a chance to win attractive monetary and non-monetary prizes, get recognized as a pioneer for product and technology verified and certificated as GHG emission reduction by International Verifier; along with enhancing company branding, creating low-carbon rice brands, as well as performing GHG emission reduction according to Decree 06/2022/ND-CP dated 11/07/2022 of the Prime Minister; preparing companies to be ready for the carbon market according to Vietnam's roadmap to 2027.

On August 22, 2023, the TRVC Project published the Request for Application on the mass media and opened registration for interested Enterprises until September 30, 2023. However, realizing that there are still too many interested Enterprises but have not been able to access Project information in time, the Project Manager – SNV, decided to re-advertise and publish the Request for Application – Batch 2, with the cut-off date at 17:00, Sunday, December 10, 2023.

The TRVC Project encourages Enterprises that are interested, but missed the opportunity to register for Batch 1, to quickly download and complete the Application to have the opportunity to win compelling monetary and non-monetary prizes.
