Request for Proposal (RFP) for Provision of 2012 Baseline Study on Situation of Domestic Violence (DV) in Ben Tre and Hai Duong Provinces

Within the framework of UNFPA support to the Vietnamese Government in the period 2012-2016, Hai Duong and Ben Tre are selected to implement the pilot model of a minimum intervention package (MIP) on DV with a strong linkage and technical support from Central projects of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST), Ministry of Health (MOH), Social Organizations (SOs).  The piloted intervention model on DV will be evaluated and analyzed on cost effectiveness to recommend policy options for nationwide replication.  

In order to set up a baseline data for monitoring and evaluation purpose, as well as obtain sufficient data and information for cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) of the minimum intervention package in both provinces, a baseline study will be conducted before launching project activities. According to 2012 Annual Work Plans of Hai Duong and Ben Tre, this base line will be implemented within 2012. 

In this context, UNFPA Vietnam CO is seeking for one consulting institution to design and conduct a baseline study in Hai Duong and Ben Tre provinces during October 2012 to March 2013.
