USAID Sustainable Forest Management Project

The USAID Sustainable Forest Management Project (the Project) is a 5-year project funded by the United States Agency for International Development in Vietnam. The Project will work with the Government of Vietnam (GVN) to reduce carbon emissions associated with deforestation, the degradation of natural forests, and poor plantation management. The Project will implement a “Green Prosperity” approach that strengthens local communities’ ability to protect their natural resource base and reduce emissions while building a strong foundation for sustainable livelihoods and equitable economic growth.
The Project will work in seven provinces (Lao Cai, Son La, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Quang Nam) and focus on five objectives:
- Improve and expand community forest management
- Increase conservation-friendly enterprises in forest-dependent communities
- Increase functionality of law enforcement system for forest crimes
- Improve production forest management practices
- Mobilize domestic resources for forest management and protection
DAI, implementer of the USAID Sustainable Forest Management Project, invites qualified vendors to submit proposals to supply imported vehicles and provide support service for applying taxes/ duties exemption and customs clearance for imported commodities under a funded project. Qualified bidders who are interested in this bid, can contact us at the email address [email protected] to receive detailed Request for Proposals.
Proposals are due no later than 5.00.p.m. Hanoi time on November 14th, 2024. Proposals and other required documentation must be e-mailed to [email protected]. The file size to send a proposal is not more than 20MB/email. In case the file is larger than 20MB, please compress the file or split it into multiple files and send multiple emails respectively.
