Roving Regional Finance Manager

The Greater Mekong region is one of the biologically richest places on the planet; its varied natural resources support the livelihoods and well-being of millions of people in mainland Southeast Asia. WWF-Greater Mekong (GM) – on the ground in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam – is working to conserve the region’s biodiversity and build a secure and sustainable future for people and wildlife.

We are seeking for a qualified candidate for the position Roving Regional Finance Manager. He/she will play a key role in providing technical support to build up capacity of staff in WWF country offices in GM region under Truly Global Implementation. He/She also ensures the implementation of finance, accounting systems, policies and procedures for Greater Mekong, aligning to WWF-GM Strategy as well as complying with all local laws and statutory requirements in the countries of operation.

Base location: Hanoi (Vietnam)

Duration: 1 year with possible extension

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration or in relevant fields. ACCA qualifications or equivalent if preferred.
• At least 7 years of practical experience in finance & accounting management.
• Experience in implementing and monitoring the compliance of finance system, policies and procedures, preferably the context of an international organization
• Experience in developing finance systems, policies and procedures is a plus
• Thorough understanding of international and local finance and accounting systems.
• People management, coaching, mentoring, problem-solving, working under pressure.
